Dr. Zhong joined the School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) as a Professor in June 2025. Prior to joining HUST, he was a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Dr. Zhong is leading major research projects funded by various agencies such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) of Singapore. He is a voting member of American Concrete Institute (ACI) committee 239-0F, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE), and serves as a grant evaluator for the NSFC and a reviewer for many reputable journals.

钟锐,博士,教授,湖北孝感人,中共党员。2015年获美国University of Connecticut土木工程专业博士学位。先后在香港理工大学、新加坡国立大学、密苏里科技大学开展研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目及其它国家级重点项目多项。担任美国混凝土学会(ACI) 239-0F投票委员、美国土木工程师协会(ASCE)会员,发表SCI检索论文近40篇,授权发明专利1项。
